Mining Employment Services (MES) is recruiting experienced underground mining professionals for multiple current vacancies across established Western Australian gold operations. Positions range from production and service crew roles to specialist drilling and senior site leadership across several sites and rosters.
Key responsibilities
- Perform duties specific to your role: Underground Mining Superintendent, Underground Projects Superintendent, Underground Charge-Up Operators, Underground Diamond Driller, Underground Long Hole Driller, Underground Bogger Operators, Underground Grader / Watercart Operators, Underground Leading Hand / Service Crew Operator, or Underground Service Crew Operators
- Work effectively within an underground mining team
- Maintain a strong safety record and reliable work ethic
About you
- Demonstrated recent experience in the role you are applying for
- Proven hard-rock underground mining experience
- Relevant qualifications, tickets and licences for your position
- Current WA Shotfirer's Licence and DGSC for Charge-Up roles
- Current Australian manual C Class Driver's Licence
- A solid safety record and reliable work ethic
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
- Valid Australian working rights
- A National Police Clearance issued within the past 12 months may also be required
