Entech is seeking an experienced Mining Consultant – Open Pit to join our West Perth team on a full-time basis, delivering practical mining engineering solutions across a diverse range of clients, commodities and project types.

Depending on experience, we will consider appointments at Senior or Principal level, with responsibilities shaped accordingly.

Duties & responsibilities:

- Deliver open pit mine planning, design, scheduling and optimisation across study and operational work

- Prepare mining inputs for Scoping, Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility Studies

- Conduct technical reviews of mine plans, production schedules, mining costs and operating assumptions

- Contribute to technical reports, proposals, due diligence reviews and client presentations

- Develop practical mining strategies that balance technical, operational and commercial outcomes

- Collaborate with geologists, geotechnical engineers, metallurgists and other study contributors

- Participate in client meetings, workshops and project reviews

- Support continuous improvement of Entech's mining engineering systems, tools and workflows

- Mentor junior engineers and review technical work, where appropriate

Qualifications & capabilities:

- Degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline

- Minimum of 5 years' open pit mining experience; 10+ years required for senior appointment

- Demonstrated experience in mine planning, design, scheduling, optimisation and/or production planning

- Proficiency with relevant mining software (Deswik, Vulcan,



Datamine, Surpac, Whittle, Spry, MineSched, Minemax, EPS, Alastri or similar)

- Practical understanding of mining operations, constraints and commercial drivers

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear technical reports and present findings to clients

- Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a broader technical team

- Full and current Australian work rights preferred
