We are looking for a talented Workshop technician to join our team specialising in engine repairs and maintenance for our Mt. Isa branch.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

- Deliver a first-class service to our customers across automotive, mining, and industrial and agricultural

- Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products

- Diagnose and repair engines

- Inspect and replace components as required

- Engine rebuilding and reconditioning

- Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

- Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Diesel Fitter (to Australian standards)

- Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products preferred

- Previous workshop exposure would be highly regarded

- Solid diagnostic, electronic and IT capabilities

- Valid Australian Driver’s license required

Compensation and Benefits

- Competitive Hourly rate paid as a permanent salary

- Overtime rates for all work above standard Monday – Friday 38-hour work week
