Due to the retirement of the current incumbent, St Stephen's School is seeking a passionate and committed full time Learning Enrichment Teacher (K - Year 12) to join our dedicated Learning Enrichment team at our Carramar Campus, commencing Term 1, 2027.
Our Learning Enrichment staff are an energetic, collaborative, and highly skilled team who work closely with teachers, students, and families to support diverse learning needs and foster student success across the School.
As a Learning Enrichment Teacher, you will play an important role in supporting inclusive education through direct teaching, curriculum support, and collaboration with classroom teachers. You will have a solid understanding of contemporary educational practice and evidence-based teaching methodologies and be committed to helping every student achieve their potential
The successful applicant will:
- Support students with diverse learning needs across the School.
- Deliver targeted teaching and intervention programs.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to differentiate curriculum and develop appropriate learning strategies.
- Support curriculum planning, implementation, and assessment practices.
- Work closely with families and external professionals where required.
- Contribute positively to a culture of inclusion, belonging, and student wellbeing.

Selection Criteria (each point to be addressed)
Education and Training
- Appropriate teaching qualifications and registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia.
- Hold a current Working with Children card and a current National Police Clearance.
- Experience and/or qualifications in Inclusive Education (preferred).
Professional Experience
- Experience in identifying students requiring additional support.
- Experience supporting students requiring literacy and numeracy enrichment and/or extension.
- An understanding of and experience in differentiating class and assessment tasks to support the individual needs of students, particularly those students with additional needs.
- Experience in contributing to, developing and evaluating Documented Plans.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and provide guidance and direction to Learning Assistants.
- Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively with teaching staff and parents.
- A working knowledge of current legislation and policies relating to educational equity including Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and Disability Standards for Education.
Personal Attributes and Values
- Experience in and a preparedness to contribute to the School’s camping, retreat and extra-curricular programs.
- Willingness to positively and actively contribute to the Christian culture of the School.
