Your Opportunity

As a Work Support Mentor within the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program, you'll help participants with disability, injury or health conditions maintain employment and achieve long-term success in the workplace. Working closely with participants and employers, you'll provide post-placement support, strengthen workplace relationships, and address barriers to job retention.

Combining employer engagement, workplace support and case management, this employment services role focuses on achieving sustainable employment outcomes for both participants and employers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support participants to successfully transition into employment, sustain their roles and achieve long-term employment outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with employers to understand workplace needs and provide practical, solutions-focused support.
- Conduct workplace visits, monitor progress and address barriers to employment retention at an early stage.
- Assist participants to develop workplace skills, confidence and independence to meet employer expectations and succeed at work.
- Collect and maintain employment evidence, including hours worked and payslips, while monitoring milestones and outcomes.
- Manage accurate documentation, wage subsidies,



and reporting requirements in line with program guidelines and performance goals.

This role is based within the Bayside Employment Services Area (ESA) and operates across our Mount Waverley, Cheltenham, Dandenong, Nunawading and Kew locations. Travel across the ESA is required to support particpants.

What You'll Bring

- A Certificate or Diploma in Community or Employment Services (or similar), or relevant lived experience supporting pathways to education or employment is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver strengths-based, person-centred support while consistently achieving KPIs and performance targets.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and provide empathetic, practical support that deliver results.
- Highly proficient across a wide range of digital tools and adept at navigating multiple systems efficiently.
- Full work rights in Australia, with the ability to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
