Chile Mojo makes hot sauce, spice blends and pantry staples inspired by real Latin American cooking — bold, smoky, chilli-forward food, made the way we'd serve it ourselves. The brand's been going since 2004, and we took over the business last October after the previous owners built it up over 21 years. We're now the largest hot sauce retailer in the Southern Hemisphere, run day to day by two brothers, based at our St Morris store and fulfilment base, shipping orders to every state in the country.

We're growing fast — current products, new customers, new hires — and none of it is corporate. Decisions get made by people who taste the sauce and pack the boxes, not a committee. About the role

This role keeps Chile Mojo's online orders moving and our St Morris store running well, day in and day out. You'll be picking, packing and posting orders accurately and on time, keeping our stock and warehouse organised, and stepping onto the shop floor to look after customers when they come through the door.

It's hands-on, it's varied, and it matters — every order you pack is either someone's first taste of Chile Mojo or is a returning customer deserving of the best service we can offer.

We are open to hearing from motivated candidates that may not yet be ready to take on full time commitments. Key responsibilities

- Pick and pack online orders accurately against order details and pick lists

- Pack products safely and to Chile Mojo's presentation standard, including inserts,



samples or promotional items

- Prepare and lodge parcels with our shipping carriers — labelling, manifesting and tracking

- Monitor daily order cut-offs and dispatch targets so orders go out on time

- Keep the warehouse and storage areas clean, organised and safe

- Receive, check and put away incoming stock and packaging deliveries

- Carry out regular stock counts and flag discrepancies

- Monitor stock levels and raise re-order needs with management

- Follow food safety, hygiene and stock rotation (FIFO) practices for all product handling

- Welcome and serve customers visiting the St Morris store

- Operate the point-of-sale system and handle cash/card transactions accurately

- Keep the shop floor stocked, clean and looking its best

- Share genuine product knowledge — flavours, heat levels, ingredients and how to use them

- Handle customer questions, exchanges and basic concerns with care

- Open and/or close the store and warehouse as rostered, including working independently when required

- Follow all workplace health & safety, security and cash-handling procedures

- Support ad hoc tasks across the business as reasonably directed (e.g. events, markets, stocktakes)

About you

- Genuine enthusiasm for food, hot sauce, and authentic Latin cooking and BBQ

- Experience in order fulfillment, warehouse operations and/or retail within FMCGs, with specific experience in the Food & Beverage sector preferable

- Proficiency using a range of POS, inventory management, parcel handling and online retail systems (Lightspeed X-Series, Shopify, Starshipit, SparkLayer, etc)

- A reliable, get-it-done attitude — online orders and customers don't wait

- Comfortable with repetitive physical tasks (standing, lifting, packing) for extended periods

- Good attention to detail and pride in getting orders right

- Confidence talking to customers face to face

- Ability to work autonomously and use good judgement when working solo in the store

- Availability to work weekends as part of the regular roster

- The legal right to work in Australia
