Gumbuya World are looking for seasonal Ride Operators, Loaders and Attraction Attendants (Ride Attendant & Slide Dispatchers) ahead of the 2026/2027 Summer Holidays.

The Rides team not only aim to ensure all guests have the Best Day Out ever, they're also a passionate, safety focused crew. As part of the Rides team, you will be trained to operate or assist in operations of Gumbuya's Kids, Family and Thrill Zone attractions.

We are looking to recruit for the following positions:

- Attractions Attendant (Ride Attendant & Slide Dispatcher) - min age 15+

- Ride Loader - min age 15+

- Ride Operator - min age 18+

When do we need you?

All roles are offered on a casual basis, given the seasonality and trading days of our business. These roles all have various start dates and frequency of work… But we do ask that you are available to work a minimum of 3 days per week during both December and January. Weekend and Public Holiday availability is a must.

Successful applicants will be available over our peak period including weekends, school holidays and public holidays.

We offer a variety of shifts ranging from morning, afternoon & full days and are able to accommodate working parents & students.

What qualifications do you need?

Working in a theme park is LOTS of fun, but we do take it seriously when it comes to the safety of our guests. To ensure their wellbeing and satisfaction we require our staff to have the following qualifications:

All successful applicants require:

- Current Working with Children Check; Employee Type (under 18 years old are exempt from this).

- Permission to work in Australia.
