Business Development Manager Brisbane and Surrounding Areas – Electrical Circuit Protection

The Position:

Due to continued and rapid growth in Queensland, a position currently exists for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and motivated and proven Business Development Manager to service a wide range of customers and industries in the Brisbane and surrounding areas.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

- The ongoing Management of a long standing and well established client base.

- Demand creation via strategic channels with exiting and targeted partners through product, technical and customer service support.

- Build and acquire new sales across multiple channels; employing professional sales techniques including but not limited to, regular client visits, cold calling, relationship management / call cycle planning and product presentations.

- The ongoing planning and implementation of strategies to generate and grow sales.

- Have a proven track record for being able to maintain / grow existing customers as well as seeking out and developing new business opportunities.

- Able to maintain sales development activity levels needed to achieve and exceed agreed business objectives and sales targets.

- The ability to demonstrate a high level of business acumen.

- Exceptional time management and organisational skills.

- Previous Electrical Industry Experience is essential.

- Be able to demonstrate proven, established relationships with clientele in the Electrical Contractor, Electrical Wholesaler and / or Manufacturing sectors.

- Display a strong understanding of CRM requirements.
