Project Manager - Civil Construction

About the Company

Our client is a well-established civil construction contractor delivering a strong pipeline of metropolitan infrastructure projects across Perth. With a focus on quality project delivery, safety and strong client relationships, they have built a solid reputation across local government and Main Roads WA projects.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil Project Manager to take ownership of multiple projects across Perth, working across a varied portfolio of civil infrastructure and roadworks.

Projects typically range from $5M in value, with the successful Project Managers overseeing approximately 3-5 projects concurrently, representing a combined portfolio of around $20M.

Key responsibilities:

- Managing the successful delivery of multiple civil construction projects from commencement through to completion
- Overseeing project teams of approximately 20 personnel, including subcontractors and site-based teams
- Managing project budgets, programmes, forecasting, variations, procurement and subcontractor performance
- Maintaining strong relationships with local government, Main Roads WA, consultants and other key stakeholders
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards
- Providing leadership and direction across projects located throughout both NOR and SOR Perth

Projects will predominantly include:

- Utilities and underground services
Minor earthworks
- Road and civil infrastructure upgrades

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the civil construction industry,



ideally delivering projects in the $2M-$5M range
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and project teams of approximately 15-20 personnel
- A strong background in roadworks, intersection upgrades, utilities, earthworks or similar civil infrastructure projects
- Strong commercial, financial and contractual management skills, including forecasting, variations, procurement and subcontractor management
Experience working with local government and/or Main Roads WA clients would be highly regarded
- Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
