- Maintain training compliance by monitoring currency, qualifications and completion records within Air Maestro and other systems, ensuring all activities meet CASA, contractual and organisational requirements.
- Coordinate training partnerships by managing simulator bookings, liaising with external providers and building strong relationships with operational leaders, instructors and examiners.
- Drive continuous improvement by analysing training outcomes, identifying trends and risks, supporting audits and enhancing training systems, documentation and resource utilisation.
- Support operational growth by planning training requirements for current contracts and contributing to manuals, SOPs, safety initiatives and operational projects.
- Provide trusted advice and reporting on training planning, regulatory requirements, compliance and organisational readiness,
including support for CASA audits and inspections.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity to join a highly skilled team and play a key role in supporting LifeFlight's operational capability and future growth. This role is currently based at the LifeFlight Training Academy in Brisbane, with a planned transition to our new purpose-built LifeFlight Training Academy on the Gold Coast in 2028.

You'll bring:
- Experience coordinating complex aviation training programs, schedules and resources.
- Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience developing, implementing or overseeing training systems, reporting or learning programs.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build effective relationships across operational, training and compliance teams.
Highly regarded:
- Experience managing aviation training within a regulated environment, particularly CASA Part 142 or Part 141 organisations.
- Strong knowledge of CASA regulations, aviation training compliance and operational standards.
- Experience using Air Maestro or similar training management systems.
- Experience coordinating simulator operations or working with external training providers.
- Experience supporting aviation contract mobilisation, Flight Examiners, Instructors and training partners.
