About the role

Mansour Paving (Aust) Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and organised Assistant to the Operations Manager to support the day-to-day delivery and administration of multiple construction projects across Sydney. This is a hands-on support position working directly with the Operations Manager. The successful applicant will play an important role in helping organise projects, maintain compliance documentation and ensure materials and project requirements are coordinated ahead of site works.

Key responsibilities

- Preparing, reviewing and maintaining Protected Work Method Statements (SWMS)

- Preparing and maintaining Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and associated QA documentation

- Compiling and submitting Operation & Maintenance Manuals (O&M; Manuals)

- Ordering construction materials and coordinating deliveries to site

- Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, site supervisors and project teams

- Maintaining project documentation, registers and records

- Following up material lead times, deliveries and outstanding documentation

- Assisting with RFIs, variations,



site records and general project correspondence

- Coordinating documentation required for project commencement, progress and handover

- Assisting the Operations Manager with general day-to-day project and operational requirements

About you

- Previous experience in construction administration, project coordination or a similar role

- An understanding of construction terminology and project documentation

- Experience preparing or managing SWMS, ITPs and O&M; Manuals

- Strong organisational and time-management skills

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Strong attention to detail

- Confidence dealing with suppliers, subcontractors and head contractors

- Competency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel

- The ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and follow matters through to completion
