At Ramelius, we're entering an exciting period of growth, with the Rebecca-Roe Gold Project progressing towards development and major upgrades underway at the Mt Magnet processing hub. These projects will transform our operating footprint and create opportunities to contribute to the safe delivery, commissioning, and operational readiness of key assets that will drive our future production growth.

The Role

As the Operational Readiness Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the systems, maintenance strategies, documentation, spare parts, and operational requirements needed for successful start-up and handover are in place. You will be the critical link between project delivery and operational teams, helping to ensure assets are handed over safely, efficiently, and ready to perform from day one.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Develop operational readiness plans and activities across project workstreams
- Support commissioning, handover, and transition activities to achieve successful operational outcomes
- Ensure maintenance and asset management requirements are established and ready for operational handover
- Coordinate critical spares, inventory, and warehouse readiness activities
- Facilitate the transfer of asset data and technical documentation into operational and maintenance systems
- Coordinate the development of operating procedures, maintenance procedures, and training materials
- Track readiness milestones, risks, and action plans across key stakeholders
- Collaborate with engineering, commissioning, maintenance,



and operational teams to identify and close readiness gaps
- Support safe, controlled, and compliant asset start-up and transition into operations
- Act as the key interface between the project delivery team and the site operations & maintenance teams at project completion stage

About You

You are a collaborative and detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of mining operational environments and construction project delivery. You thrive in cross-functional teams and are passionate about setting organisations up for long-term success.

You bring:

- Degree qualification in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Demonstrated experience delivering mining construction projects into operational readiness
- Detailed understanding of in Processing Plant construction, with gold processing experience an advantage
- Experience in operational readiness, project transition, commissioning, asset management, operations, or a similar field
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and manage competing priorities
- Experience developing operational procedures, training requirements, and readiness plans
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Knowledge of risk management and change management principles
