We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established and highly regarded construction business delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across Canberra and the ACT.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who enjoys taking ownership of projects from inception through to completion and wants to work for a business that genuinely values its people, quality of delivery and long-term client relationships.

The Opportunity
You will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of commercial construction projects, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Lead the end-to-end delivery of commercial construction projects
- Manage project scope, budgets, programs and key milestones
- Lead and develop project teams, subcontractors and consultants
- Manage procurement, subcontractor engagement and project resources
- Monitor project financial performance and commercial outcomes
- Manage variations, claims, contracts and commercial negotiations
- Identify and proactively manage project risks and issues
- Maintain project programs and ensure key deliverables are achieved
- Ensure projects are delivered to the required quality, safety and compliance standards
- Develop strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Provide regular project reporting to senior management
- Drive a collaborative,



accountable and high-performance project culture

About You

We are looking for a Project Manager with a proven track record delivering commercial construction projects, ideally within the Canberra/ACT market.
You will have:

- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the commercial construction industry
- Experience managing projects from commencement through to practical completion
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement and commercial management
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, programs and resources
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- A proactive approach to project risk and problem solving
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of Australian construction practices, legislation and WHS requirements
