About the role

The Electrician is responsible for the electrical maintenance, installation, response, diagnostic and repair services across a broad range of activities for clients of Modus Projects to meet the specified targets.

Key responsibilities

- General maintenance and repairs to electrical systems

- Installation of current electrical systems associated with project works to contractual and legislative requirements

- Read electrical, architectural and mechanical diagrams, drawings or specifications to determine job requirements

- Plan the layout of wiring systems

- Test for, locate and repair electrical malfunctions

- Install electrical and electronic control systems

- Assemble electrical and electronic components and appliances

- Connect electrical equipment to power supplies

- Preventative maintenance tasks

- Install insulated cables and connect switches, outlets and other fittings; connect circuit breakers, transformers, motors, heaters and other electrical equipment

About you

- Trade Certificate in Electrical or equivalent

- Driver's Licence

- First Aid Certificate

- Construction Induction Card (White Card)

- Working at Heights

- Elevated Work Platform (Under 11 metres)

- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in general electrical work on small and large scale commercial and retail facilities

- Strong, effective communication skills (written and verbal)





- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
