The Skills, Safety and Culture Lead is a senior, hands-on electrical role combining trade delivery with workforce development, WHSEQA leadership, mentoring and continuous improvement across Brooks Marchant.

The Skills, Safety and Culture Lead ensures that:

- Brooks Marchant WHSEQA systems are practical, current, understood and implemented by the people carrying out the work.

- Management and employees are supported with practical WHSEQA guidance that aligns legislative requirements, company systems and safe work practices.

- Apprentices, junior employees, tradespeople and emerging leaders receive practical coaching, training and mentorship.

- The role remains actively connected to electrical and production work, providing technical credibility and a visible link between systems and the workplace.

- Positive workplace behaviours, accountability, teamwork, quality and pride in the Brooks Marchant brand are actively promoted and reinforced.





What you'll do

Work alongside and support experienced electricians and mentor apprentices and junior workers. You'll contribute to the company's successful delivery of:

- Commercial electrical installations

- Switchboard manufacturing and installation

- PLC and industrial control systems

- Cable containment and cable installation

- Testing and commissioning

- Working on some of the ACT's most significant infrastructure projects

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

- Motivated and reliable

- Enjoys practical, hands-on work

- Works well in a team

- Takes pride in quality workmanship

- Has good communication skills

- Holds current Electrical Licence

- Safety qualification or experience
