About the role

As Executive Manager-Finance & Strategy, you will take genuine ownership of Korus Connect's finance, compliance and governance functions. You will oversee day-to-day finance operations, lead the Finance Manager and Finance Accountant, and remain accountable for compliance filings and financial sign-off. You will also act as Company Secretary, managing Board and Committee papers, minutes and governance filings, while overseeing regulatory obligations including ACNC, CMA, labour hire, fundraising compliance and insurance. Beyond the numbers, you will work closely with the CEO to help shape Korus Connect's strategy and vision.

Key responsibilities

- Lead the finance function end to end, including AP/AR, payroll oversight, bank reconciliations, monthly reporting and budgeting

- Develop and maintain forecasting models to support long-term planning and decision-making

- Partner with the CEO and Board to shape Korus Connect's mission, vision, and strategic direction, and represent finance and governance position to churches, donors, and community stakeholders

- Administer company affairs in line with ASIC and ACNC requirements and fulfil the duties of Company Secretary

- Model servant leadership and the organisation's values across Korus Connect





About you

- CA/CPA qualified

- Tertiary qualifications in commerce or accounting

- Strong track record in senior finance leadership within a not-for-profit organisation

- Led change, improved business processes and built credibility as a trusted adviser

- Exemplary financial capability and outcomes-focused approach

- Robust verbal and written communication skills

- Experience building relationships across churches, donors, not-for-profit organisations or community sectors

- Experience with, or strong aptitude to quickly learn company secretarial and Board administration

- Servant leader who is strongly aligned to the values and mission of this Christian organisation.

- Satisfactory Working with Children Check and National Police Check as a condition of employment
