Marketing Coordinator – Communities

Sydney CBD | Full-time | 12-month fixed term contract – Start ASAP

Marketing that helps people find the services and support they need.

We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join Uniting’s Communities team and play a hands-on role in bringing local marketing campaigns and activities to life across our services.

This is a varied role where no two campaigns will necessarily look the same. You’ll coordinate campaigns across digital and traditional channels, bring creative briefs and marketing collateral together, support social and search activity, coordinate local events and use campaign insights to help improve what we do next.

You’ll work closely with internal teams, creative and media partners and local service stakeholders to make sure our marketing is relevant, engaging and aligned to the Uniting brand.

What you’ll be doing

- Coordinate and deliver local area marketing campaigns across the Communities portfolio, working from established marketing plans as well as responding to emerging business needs.
- Coordinate campaign activity across digital and traditional channels, including social, search, outdoor advertising, events and printed collateral.
- Brief and manage the development of marketing assets, including brochures, branded materials, merchandise and updates to existing website content.
- Support SEM and social media campaigns in partnership with internal stakeholders and our media agency.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyse results and identify opportunities to optimise activity and improve future campaigns.
- Coordinate marketing activities and events that increase awareness, engagement and connection with local communities.
- Develop clear and effective marketing briefs and manage projects through to delivery.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies to keep campaigns moving and ensure deadlines are met.
- Support the administration and tracking of campaign budgets where required.
- Keep across emerging marketing trends, tools and channels and bring ideas that can make our marketing more effective.

About you

You’ll be a practical,

organised and curious marketer who enjoys getting things done and seeing your work make an impact.

You’ll bring:

- At least two years’ experience in a Marketing Coordinator or similar marketing role.
- Experience coordinating digital and traditional marketing campaigns from brief through to delivery.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple campaigns, deadlines and stakeholders.
- Experience working with social media, SEM and marketing analytics, with an understanding of how to use campaign performance data to inform decisions.
- Robust written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- The confidence to work with a range of stakeholders and external agencies.
- A creative mindset combined with a practical and analytical approach.

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who enjoys working collaboratively, takes ownership of their work and wants their marketing skills to contribute to something meaningful.
