About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a leading Catholic secondary school in Brisbane. This is an exciting chance to teach Senior Chemistry and Biology, alongside Junior Science, within a high‐performing and well‐resourced faculty.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Senior Chemistry and Biology, along with Junior Science, aligned with the Australian Curriculum and Queensland senior syllabuses.
n
- Facilitate practical and inquiry‐based learning experiences that deepen students' scientific understanding.
n
- Inspire curiosity, critical thinking and problem‐solving through innovative and differentiated teaching practices.
n
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
n




- Collaborate with colleagues within the Science faculty on curriculum planning, moderation and co‐curricular initiatives.
n
- Contribute to the broader school community, including pastoral care and extracurricular activities.
n

What We're Looking For: To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- A recognised teaching qualification and current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
n
- Experience teaching Senior Chemistry and/or Biology, with the ability to also teach Junior Science.
n
- A commitment to student‐centred, inclusive teaching practices and evidence‐based pedagogy.
n
- Strong communication, organisational and collaboration skills.
n
- An understanding of and alignment with the values and ethos of Catholic education.
n
