JOB DESCRIPTION

Mercy Health is seeking an experienced Lifestyle Coordinator to join our residential aged care facility in Parkville. As a Lifestyle Coordinator, you will play a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing and quality of life for our residents through the design and delivery of engaging lifestyle programs.

- Develop, plan, and deliver a diverse range of lifestyle programs that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
n
- Collaborate with residents, families, and staff to create personalised programs that cater to individual preferences.
n
- Continuously monitor and assess the success of lifestyle programs, making improvements to enhance resident engagement and satisfaction.
n
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to integrate lifestyle activities with residents' care plans.
n
- Oversee the scheduling and organisation of events, ensuring all activities are well-structured and properly resourced.
n
- Foster a positive, inclusive community atmosphere, encouraging active participation from residents.
n
- Maintain detailed records of activities, attendance, and feedback,



and provide regular reports to management.
n
- Coordinate and support the Volunteer Program to enhance resident experience.
n

- Prior experience working in similar roles in the Aged Care Sector.
n
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and a genuine love for working with people.

- Creativity in planning diverse and inclusive activities.
n
- Ability to adapt programs for residents with physical or cognitive limitations.
n
- Teamwork and leadership skills in multidisciplinary environments.
n
- Valuable administrative and computer skills.
n
- A passion for event planning, social activities, or community work.
n

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

- A valid Police Check
n
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (CHC43415) or equivalent essential
n
- First Aid and CPR certification essential
n
