Job Description

Aurizon in Darwin is recruiting for a Rail Operator (Shunter) Trainee to learn safe and productive movement of rollingstock within our terminal and yard environments, performing shunting, marshalling, brake testing and locomotive servicing under supervision.

This hands-on role forms a critical link in our freight operations and offers a clear pathway to becoming a qualified Locomotive Driver, with Trainee Driver positions often offered to top performers from our Rail and Terminal Operator teams.
