THE ROLE SUMMARY

You run the client conversations, from the first discovery session through to the roadmap. Discovery, AI maturity assessments, governance, and workshops across custom software, integration, data and AI. You walk a mid sized business through where they are now, where they could get to, and what to build to close the gap. Then you oversee delivery at an advisory level, working alongside a solution architect who owns the technical design and the offshore engineering team who build it. This is not a hands-on engineering seat. You carry 5 or more active projects at a time plus presales.

A TYPICAL WEEK

In any given week, you might:

- Run an AI discovery session with a new client, working out where technology and AI could help their business.

- Run a maturity assessment or a governance session.

- Run a workshop. Get clients in a room, work out what they need, and leave with clear next steps.

- Check in on delivery across your projects, in step with the solution architect running the technical side.

- Scope new work alongside a business development manager and the CTO.





- Keep up with what is current in technology and AI. Clients need you to be their eyes and ears.

WHAT YOU OWN

- The client relationship, from the first discovery conversation through to delivery.

- The scope. What gets built, in what order, handed to the solution architect to design.

- The client conversation on maturity, governance, and where the business should go next.

- Whether what gets delivered solves the problem the client came in with in the first place.

- Presales alongside the CTO.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- A consulting background. You have run advisory engagements across several clients at once, not just delivered projects.

- Comfortable in front of the CEO or CTO of a mid sized business. You can walk them through current state, future state, and a roadmap.

- Business acumen. You understand how a mid sized business makes money and where technology changes that.

- You understand AI well enough to run a discovery or maturity session without being hands on.

- A strong breadth of knowledge across industries and technologies.

- Senior enough to run clients with minimal supervision from the CTO.
