Job Description

Canva is seeking a Principal Research Scientist to define and steer evaluation for generative quality across Canva Research. You will set long-term direction, align evaluation with real user impact, and lead cross-region collaboration among teams in Australia, Europe, the US and China.

You will own the measurement pipeline, ensuring reliable auto-raters, MBLLM judges and alignment with business metrics, while driving evaluation from research into production and product decisions.
