About The Role

n

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to provide clinical education, mentoring and support to our nursing teams for 2 days a week. You'll help build clinical capability, promote best practice and contribute to quality and safe care outcomes across our services. This is a great prospect to use your clinical experience to develop others, improve practice and make a meaningful difference to patient and family outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Provide clinical education, orientation and professional development support to nursing staff.
n
- Promote a positive learning culture and support ongoing capability development across the service.
n
- Monitor patient/consumer care plans and support appropriate care outcomes.
n
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, students and less experienced team members.
n
- Support the delivery of safe, high-quality and evidence-based nursing care.
n
- Contribute to organisation-wide and external projects, including clinical protocols, guidelines and process improvement initiatives.
n
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to identify learning needs and improve clinical practice.
n
- Promote teamwork, professional development and continuous improvement.
n




- Support continuity and consistency of care in collaboration with the Regional Team Manager or relevant service/ward/unit leadership.
n
- Contribute to quality, safety, governance and clinical improvement activities.
n

What You'll Bring

n

n
- Registration, or eligibility for registration, as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, including a current or eligible practising certificate.
n
- Minimum 3 years' post-graduation nursing experience.
n
- Demonstrated clinical competence and experience within the relevant area of nursing practice.
n
- Experience providing clinical education, supervision or mentoring to nursing staff and/or students.
n
- Strong understanding of contemporary nursing practice, legislation and clinical governance requirements.
n
- Strong communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
n
- A passion for developing others and improving clinical outcomes.
n
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
n
- A commitment to quality, safety and person-centred care.
