The Opportunity
ANZUK Education is working in partnership with a leading independent girls’ school in Brisbane, seeking a Middle Years Science and Mathematics Teacher for a fixed-term, full-time position from Term 2 through to the end of the year.

This role sits within a well-established academic environment known for robust outcomes, a broad co-curricular program and a genuine focus on student wellbeing. The position will involve teaching Science across the Middle Years, with additional Mathematics classes, working within a collaborative and well-supported faculty.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality Science and Mathematics lessons across the Middle Years.
- Plan and deliver engaging, contemporary learning experiences aligned to the QCAA and Australian Curriculum
- Maintain high standards of assessment, feedback and reporting
- Support the academic and pastoral development of students
- Contribute to a cooperative and professional teaching team
- Integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning




- Engage with co-curricular activities and broader school life
- Build strong relationships with students, families and the wider school community

Requirements

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education
- Current Queensland College of Teachers registration
- Experience teaching Middle Years Science, with the ability to teach Mathematics
- Strong understanding of contemporary teaching practices and curriculum frameworks
- Confident use of ICT in the classroom
- Ability to contribute positively to a collaborative school environment
- Alignment with a faith-based school ethos and commitment to student wellbeing
