The Opportunity
n ANZUK Education is working in partnership with a leading independent girls' school in Brisbane, seeking a Middle Years Science and Mathematics Teacher for a fixed-term, full time position from Term 2 through to the end of the year.

n

This role sits within a well-established academic environment known for strong outcomes, a broad co-curricular program and a genuine focus on student wellbeing. The position will involve teaching Science across the Middle Years, with additional Mathematics classes, working within a collaborative and well-supported faculty.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Deliver high-quality Science and Mathematics lessons across the Middle Years.
n
- Plan and deliver engaging, contemporary learning experiences aligned to the QCAA and Australian Curriculum
n
- Maintain high standards of assessment, feedback and reporting
n
- Support the academic and pastoral development of students
n
- Contribute to a collaborative and professional teaching team
n
- Integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning
n
- Engage with co-curricular activities and broader school life
n




- Build strong relationships with students, families and the wider school community
n

n

Requirements

n

n
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education
n
- Current Queensland College of Teachers registration
n
- Experience teaching Middle Years Science, with the ability to teach Mathematics
n
- Strong understanding of contemporary teaching practices and curriculum frameworks
n
- Confident use of ICT in the classroom
n
- Ability to contribute positively to a collaborative school environment
n
- Alignment with a faith-based school ethos and commitment to student wellbeing
n
