About our opportunity

We're looking for a proactive and collaborative Procurement Officer to support the delivery of procurement outcomes that help keep one of Queensland's most visited destinations running smoothly.

This is an prospect to work across a diverse range of procurement activities while partnering with stakeholders from across the business. From supporting procurement planning and market approaches to coordinating tender processes and promoting best practice governance, you'll play an important role in helping the Corporation achieve its objectives.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Contracts, you'll support procurement activities across the Corporation, helping ensure procurement processes are compliant, efficient and aligned with organisational requirements.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business, providing procurement advice and support, coordinating tender and contracting activities and contributing to the ongoing improvement of procurement practices and governance.

This role offers a great chance to build on your procurement experience while developing strong commercial, governance and stakeholder engagement skills in a unique and dynamic environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting procurement activities across the Corporation from planning through to contract award.





Reviewing procurement plans, supplier selection documentation and market approach documentation.

Coordinating tender and quotation processes in accordance with Corporation policies and procedures.

Providing procurement support and advice to business stakeholders.

Promoting ethical, fair and transparent procurement practices.

Assisting in the development and improvement of procurement policies, procedures and guidance materials.

Supporting procurement capability across the Corporation through training and knowledge sharing.

Building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

About You

You're a procurement skilled who enjoys working with people, solving problems and helping organisations achieve great outcomes.

You bring a flexible and adaptable approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to balance procurement processes with practical business needs. You build trusted relationships, communicate confidently and work collaboratively with stakeholders to navigate procurement and contract-related matters.

You'll be comfortable supporting procurement activities from planning through to contract award, including preparing documentation, drafting and reviewing contracts, and coordinating tender processes. Most importantly, you understand that good procurement is about achieving the right outcome, not simply following a process. You apply sound judgement, take a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and look for solutions that deliver value while maintaining appropriate controls.

You'll be recognised for your positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a focus on outcomes, relationships and continuous improvement.

You will bring:

Experience managing procurement, sourcing or contract related activities.

Experience preparing,



reviewing or administering contracts and supporting procurement activities through to contract award.

An understanding of procurement processes, supplier engagement and evaluation approaches.

Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills, with the ability to build trust and work collaboratively across the business.

Well-developed communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear documentation and provide practical advice to stakeholders.

Sound analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to balance process requirements with business outcomes.

A flexible, adaptable and solutions focused approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Relevant qualifications or experience in procurement, business, commerce, supply chain management, law or a related discipline will be well regarded
