Kier Group is seeking a dedicated Section Engineer to join our prominent Sizewell C Project team. Based out of our Ipswich hub at Ransomes Europark and operating on the Sizewell C Project site in Suffolk, this is a full-time opportunity offering a salary of £45,273 per year with a standard working week of typically 45 hours, alongside potential flexibility on hours for the right candidate.

In this role, you will be a key part of our engineering team, contributing to a highly regulated nuclear environment. Your day-to-day focus will be on ensuring technical compliance, maintaining rigorous safety standards, and driving operational excellence across your assigned section of the project.

Key responsibilities for the Section Engineer include:

- Planning, providing precise engineering control, and supervising site operations for a defined section of works.

- Collaborating closely with project managers, site teams,



and subcontractors to deliver engineering solutions safely and efficiently.

- Ensuring all construction activities comply with strict quality assurance, environmental, and health and safety standards.

- Monitoring site progress, maintaining accurate technical records, and resolving any design or construction queries that arise on-site.

- Promoting a solid safety culture and adhering to all regulatory and company-specific protocols.

To be successful in this position, you should bring a strong background in civil engineering or construction, with proven experience working on complex infrastructure projects. Familiarity with rigorous regulatory environments and strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
