An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Regional Manager / Operations Manager to join a growing Australian-owned services business and take responsibility for a major portfolio of retail and commercial cleaning operations.
n This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across multiple sites, while leading a large workforce and maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
n The prospect Reporting to the Head of Cleaning, you will lead the operational, commercial and people performance of an allocated portfolio of cleaning sites.

- Leading cleaning operations across multiple geographically dispersed sites
n
- Managing Cleaning Managers, Supervisors and site-based teams
n
- Ensuring contractual obligations, service standards and client expectations are consistently achieved
n
- Building strong relationships with clients and centre management
n
- Acting as the key operational escalation point for your portfolio
n
- Managing labour costs, overtime, consumables, equipment and operational expenditure
n
- Monitoring site performance against budgets and implementing productivity improvements
n
- Conducting regular site inspections, audits and operational reviews
n
- Managing WHS, incidents, risk and compliance
n
- Addressing workforce performance, attendance and conduct matters
n
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training and workforce planning
n




- Identifying and managing contract variations and additional service opportunities
n
- Supporting contract renewals, tenders and business growth initiatives.
n

About you We're looking for an experienced operational leader who has worked within cleaning, facilities management, contract services or a similar labour-intensive environment.
n You'll ideally have:

n

- Significant experience in a senior cleaning, facilities or operations management role
n
- Experience managing multiple sites and geographically dispersed teams
n
- Experience leading large workforces and managing performance, attendance and conduct
n
- Strong client and stakeholder management capability
n
- Experience managing budgets, labour costs and operational performance
n
- Strong understanding of WHS, risk and compliance
n
- Experience managing contractual requirements and service standards
n
- A track record of improving operational performance and productivity
n
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
n
- A current driver's licence.
n

Experience within retail, shopping centres, commercial cleaning or facilities management would be highly regarded, as would exposure to Enterprise Agreements, Modern Awards, workforce management systems and contract mobilisation/tender processes.
