Labourforce is currently seeking experienced HC Truck Drivers for a well-established transport operation based out of Acacia Ridge, Brisbane. This role involves a mix of regional runs across North, South and West QLD, with some local work depending on operational requirements.
This is a great opportunity for reliable drivers who are comfortable with longer runs, customer interaction, and operating specialised tanker equipment.
Shift & Hours
- Start Time: 6:00am
- Pay Rate: $36.73/hr
- Typical Hours: 10-hour days (average)
- Roster: Monday to Friday
- Occasional longer days (up to ~12 hours) depending on operational needs
- Occasional weekend work may be required
About the Role
- Operating a 21,000L tanker truck with single trailer
- Completing regional transport runs with occasional local deliveries
- Delivering to fuel stations, transport companies, and commercial customers
- Drivers will be required to sleep in the truck cab during regional runs (no motels provided)
- Collecting delivery confirmations and ensuring paperwork is completed correctly
- Reporting directly to the Branch Operations Supervisor
- Ensuring time cards are completed and signed off appropriately
Key Responsibilities
- Safe operation of HC manual transmission vehicles
- Ensuring compliance with NHVR regulations and fatigue management
- Maintaining strong communication with customers during deliveries
- Using NowGo systems for job management and tracking
- Working collaboratively with the operations team
