Event Activation Crew & Photo Booth Operator
n
Casual | Part Time | Full Time
n
Gold Coast & Brisbane
n
Career opportunities across all companies within Alo Group Brand
n
Snaptured is a premium event hire company servicing the Gold Coast, Brisbane and South East Queensland.
n
We work across everything from intimate private events to major corporate activations and events with more than 4,000 attendees.
n
Our team has worked on events and activations involving brands and organisations including Coca-Cola, Netflix, Village Roadshow Theme Parks, Dreamworld, Amazon, Samsung, Sony, Red Bull and Virgin.
n
We are looking for reliable, well-presented and genuinely customer-focused people to join our growing events team.
n
This is not simply a setup and pack-down role.
n
We are looking for people who enjoy helping others, communicate confidently, take pride in presentation, notice the small details and are comfortable using computers and technology.
n
About the Role
n
You will work across weddings, corporate events, private functions, brand activations and major events throughout the Gold Coast, Brisbane and surrounding areas.
n
Depending on the event, your role may include:
n
n
- Operating photo booths and interactive event experiences
n
- Greeting and assisting guests
n
- Providing excellent customer service
n
- Communicating professionally with clients, venue staff and event organisers
n
- Delivering, setting up and collecting event equipment
n
- Setting up photo booths, backdrops, lighting and other event hire products
n
- Assisting with special effects and activations
n
- Troubleshooting basic equipment, computer or software issues onsite
n
- Helping with larger setups and pack-downs
n
- Ensuring every setup is polished and presented to a high standard
n
n
Who We Are Looking For
n
Customer service is one of the most important parts of this role.
n
You may be representing Snaptured to a bride and groom, corporate organiser, venue manager or hundreds of guests, so your attitude, communication and presentation matter.
n
The right person will have:
n
n
- Excellent customer service skills
n
- Professional presentation
n
- Strong attention to detail
n
- A genuine willingness to help others
n
- Good computer and technology skills
n
- Confidence communicating with clients and guests
n
- A friendly and approachable personality
n
- Solid problem-solving skills
n
- Initiative and the ability to think on your feet
n
- Excellent reliability and punctuality
n
- The ability to remain calm under pressure
n
- A willingness to learn new equipment and systems
n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
n
We particularly value people who notice something needs doing and simply get it done.
n
Technology
n
You do not need to be an IT expert, but much of our equipment is technology-based.
n
You should be comfortable using computers, tablets, printers, cameras, software and electronic equipment, as well as learning new systems and carrying out basic troubleshooting.
n
If something does not connect, print or respond, we are looking for someone who will calmly work through the problem.
n
What Makes the Role Different?
n
No two shifts are exactly the same.
n
One weekend you might operate a photo booth at a wedding. The next you could be assisting with a major corporate activation, working at a theme park, attending a five-star venue or helping deliver an event for several thousand guests.
n
It is a great role for someone who enjoys people, technology and events and wants something more interesting than a standard hospitality shift.
n
Availability
n
Most events take place on:
n
n
- Friday afternoons and nights
n
- Saturdays and Saturday nights
n
- Sundays
n
- Some weeknights
n
- Occasional weekday corporate events
n
n
Late-night finishes and collections are part of the events industry, so applicants must genuinely be available for evening and weekend work.
n
Licence & Transport
n
A current driver licence is required.
n
You must have reliable transport to get yourself to and from our warehouse or nominated starting location and be comfortable driving company vehicles when required.
n
A manual licence is advantageous but not essential.
n
Physical Requirements
n
Event hire is hands-on, so you must be comfortable:
n
n
- Loading and unloading equipment
n
- Safely moving event equipment
n
- Being on your feet for extended periods
n
- Setting up and packing down events
n
- Working indoors and outdoors
n
- Helping other team members with larger installations
n
n
We are looking for someone who is just as willing to help carry equipment as they are to confidently speak with a client.
n
Experience
n
Previous experience in hospitality, hotels, customer service, events, tourism, retail, corporate events, entertainment venues or technology-based roles would be highly regarded.
n
Previous photo booth or event hire experience is not required.
n
We can teach you how to use our equipment and systems.
n
It is much harder to teach someone to genuinely care about the client, notice the small details, take pride in their work and naturally want to help others.
n
Why Join Snaptured?
n
You will work across some of the Gold Coast and Brisbane's leading venues, weddings, corporate events, private celebrations and large-scale activations.
n
Snaptured forms part of the ALO Group, which creates broader opportunities for team members beyond their initial role. For successful applicants who show initiative, reliability and a strong work ethic, there is potential to grow into different positions and career pathways across the group as the businesses continue to expand.
n
We are looking for people who want to become a genuine part of our team rather than simply pick up the occasional shift.
