Sustainability Engagement Manager - Residential

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Sustainability Engagement Manager to lead the City’s residential sustainability and resilience work while the incumbent Manager is on maternity leave.
This is a excellent opportunity to:
- lead the design, delivery and evaluation of sustainability and resilience programs across the residential strata sector
- lead and inspire a small team to deliver initiatives that improve environmental performance and support more sustainable apartment living
- build solid relationships with government, industry, community and other key stakeholders to achieve strategic outcomes
- influence and engage the strata sector to build capability, encourage leadership and drive market transformation
- provide expert advice on sustainability matters, including briefings and reports for Council and information for the community
- work collaboratively across the City to deliver initiatives that support our environmental and resilience strategies and targets.
You will bring significant experience in designing and delivering environmental or resilience programs, strong stakeholder and leadership skills, and an understanding of sustainability issues within the built environment. Experience working with the residential strata sector would be highly regarded.
This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.
