Our client, a well-established manufacturer based in Smithfield, is currently seeking an experienced Upholsterer to join their production team.
This is a hands-on role suited to candidates with proven upholstery experience in a manufacturing or commercial furniture environment. You will be responsible for upholstering office chairs and commercial furniture to a high standard using a variety of upholstery tools and techniques.
Location: Smithfield, NSW
Monday to Friday | 7:30am - 4:00pm
Pay Rate: $35-$40 per hour + Super
Overtime Available | Temp to Permanent Opportunity

Duties Include:
- Upholstering office chairs and commercial furniture
- Using hand staplers, upholstery tools and power tools
- Cutting and preparing fabrics, foam and other materials using templates and patterns
- Measuring,
fitting and securing upholstery materials
- Completing quality inspections on finished products
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
- Previous upholstery experience is essential
- Experience upholstering commercial furniture, office chairs or similar products
- Experience using hand staplers, upholstery tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- A reliable work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
