About The Opportunity

n

Join Metcash as an RMS Territory Manager and play a key role in supporting independent retailers across your territory.

n

In this highly visible, field-based position, you'll build strong relationships with retailers, vendor partners and casual merchandisers to drive sustainable wholesale and retail sales. You'll use commercial insights, strong negotiation skills and a customer-focused approach to ensure retailers receive the right level of service, ranging and merchandising support to grow their businesses.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced FMCG qualified who enjoys being out in the field, influencing stakeholders and identifying opportunities that deliver meaningful results!

The RMS Territory Manager requires intrastate travel; a TOT will be provided.

In this Role

n

n
- Build strong relationships with independent retailers, providing trusted advice and support to help grow their businesses
n




- Drive sales performance across your territory through range recommendations, category insights and merchandising initiatives
n
- Negotiate and manage retailer service agreements, ensuring support models remain commercially effective and aligned to trading needs
n
- Partner with key vendor representatives to deliver promotional activity, field-focus initiatives and category priorities
n
- Lead, coach and support casual merchandisers, ensuring high-quality execution and efficient resource allocation
n
- Adapt store layouts and planograms to maximise sales opportunities and improve the customer shopping experience
n
- Collaborate with Merchandise, Space Planning and Implementation teams to deliver retail projects, new store openings and range reviews
