The Role

n

Our Queensland Water Resources business continues to grow, supported by a strong and secure pipeline of work. We are seeking an Experienced or Senior Drainage Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team, working on a diverse portfolio of water and transport‐related projects across Queensland and the wider ANZ business.

n

With 4+ years' experience, you will play a key role in:

n

- Designing innovative and compliant drainage systems for civil infrastructure projects
n
- Leading and coordinating drainage design components to meet project and client requirements
n
- Partnering with Principal Engineers on large‐scale, complex projects and owning your deliverables
n
- Preparing high‐quality technical design reports and drawing packages
n

About You

n

You are an experienced drainage engineer from an engineering consultancy environment, with a strong technical foundation and a passion for delivering quality outcomes and building trusted client relationships.

n





You will have:

n

n
- A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Bachelor or Master's)
n
- 4+ years' experience in drainage design, ideally on transport or major infrastructure projects
n
- Strong knowledge of Austroads guidelines, standards and specifications
n
- Hands‐on capability in stormwater and drainage design, including open channels, culverts, pit and pipe systems
n
- Proficiency in 12D, DRAINS and MUSIC
n
- Experience with dynamic drainage in 12D and/or TUFLOW (desirable)
n
- A positive, collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
n
- A passion for technical excellence, innovation and continuous improvement
