We're currently seeking an experienced Team Manager to join our Distribution Centre leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for a people-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and is passionate about safety, service, continuous improvement, and developing high-performing teams.

About the Role

As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring productivity, accuracy, safety, and customer service targets are consistently achieved. You will play a key role in driving operational performance while fostering a positive and engaged team culture.

Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will lead and develop a team of warehouse employees while maintaining efficient warehouse processes and championing continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage daily warehouse operations across receiving, picking, dispatch and inventory activities

Drive safety-first behaviours and maintain a safe working environment for all team members

Coach, support and develop team members to achieve high performance and engagement

Monitor operational KPIs including productivity, accuracy and service levels

Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Manage labour planning and roster requirements to meet operational demands

Conduct performance management, coaching and development conversations

Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, quality standards and legislative requirements

Oversee inventory accuracy and warehouse housekeeping standards

Support recruitment, onboarding and training activities





Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the business

About You

You are an experienced warehouse leader who enjoys motivating teams and delivering operational excellence in a dynamic environment.

To be successful, you'll bring:

Previous experience leading teams within a warehouse, logistics, FMCG or distribution setting

Strong people leadership and coaching skills

Experience managing safety, performance and operational outcomes

Knowledge of warehouse systems, RF technology and automated environments

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

A continuous improvement mindset and ability to drive change

Flexibility to adapt to changing operational priorities
