About the Role

AR Developments is seeking a reliable Plant & Equipment Maintenance Tradesperson to support our Hemmant office, yard and civil construction sites across South East Queensland. This is a varied, hands-on role maintaining civil equipment, attachments, generators and tools, completing fabrication and welding, operating a forklift and providing practical operational support where it is needed most.

Full time employment is preferred. We will also consider a strong part-time or casual applicant who can commit to a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Inspect, service and maintain civil equipment, plant attachments, generators, powered tools and related assets.
n
- Complete preventative maintenance, basic fault finding, minor repairs, lubrication and adjustments.
n
- Carry out fabrication, welding, cutting, drilling and grinding tasks.
n
- Identify defects, isolate unsafe equipment and coordinate specialist repairs when required.
n
- Operate a forklift to load, unload, move and organise equipment and materials.
n
- Maintain the Hemmant workshop, yard, storage areas, fixtures and facilities.
n
- Travel to sites across South East Queensland to inspect, service, recover or repair equipment.

Complete maintenance records, pre-starts and required safety documentation.

What We're Looking For

- Manual driver's licence
n
- Current forklift licence
n




- Welding experience
n
- Physically fit and capable of manual work
n
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
n

n

Desirable Experience

n

This role may suit a qualified Boilermaker, Welder, Metal Fabricator, Fitter, Fitter-Welder, Fitter and Turner, Heavy Equipment Technician or an experienced maintenance tradesperson with comparable practical capability. Civil construction, earthmoving, plant hire, workshop or field service experience will be highly regarded
