Job Description

As Practice Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the practice while supporting our clinical and technical teams. You will help create a positive workplace culture, maintain high standards of patient care and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and client experience.

Key responsibilities

- Lead, guide and develop the clinical and technical team.
n
- Build and maintain a positive, collaborative team culture.
n
- Manage day-to-day clinic operations, including scheduling, inventory and facilities.
n
- Coordinate patient calendars and multiple clinic schedules.
n
- Monitor clinic financial performance, including invoicing and accounts receivable.
n
- Work closely with public hospitals, private hospitals and private clinics.
n
- Support client retention and identify opportunities to improve practice efficiency.
n
- Organise and maintain confidential patient files.
n
- Ensure patient rights, privacy and confidentiality are maintained.
n
- Assist with funding and support programs, including the NDIS.
n

About you

- Previous experience in practice, office or administration management.
n
- Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
n
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
n
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
n
- Solid conflict-resolution skills and a calm, impartial approach.
n
- Confidence working independently as well as part of a team.
n
- Positive working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
n
- Experience with MYOB is desirable.
n
- An understanding of patient rights, privacy and confidentiality.
n
- Knowledge of client funding programs, including the NDIS.
