About the role
n
Our client, a leading global healthcare organisation, is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their payroll team on an initial 2-3 month temporary role. They are open to experience and coaching the right candidate.
n

- Review and validate payroll data prior to processing
n
- Investigate and correct payroll discrepancies
n
- Perform payroll reconciliations and quality checks
n
- Review leave balances, timesheets and employee records
n
- Manage payroll and employee enquiry inboxes
n
- Support payroll compliance activities and background payroll processes
n
- Assist with termination calculations and overpayment reviews
n
- Conduct manual payroll calculations as required
n
- Support Dayforce-related administration and troubleshooting activities.
n
n
Skills & experience
n
n
- Proven experience in payroll administration within a medium to large organisation
n
- Strong capability in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
n
- Understanding of Long Service Leave (LSL) calculations
n
- Experience with Dayforce or similar payroll systems is advantageous
n
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
n
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
