Senior Mathematics and Science Teacher will join our dynamic Secondary School team on a permanent, full‐time basis.

About the Role

n

This position involves teaching Mathematics and Science across Years 7–12, with the opportunity to deliver senior secondary courses (TASC or equivalent). The successful candidate will contribute to a culture of academic excellence, innovation in pedagogy, and strong student‐teacher relationships.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Deliver engaging and rigorous Mathematics and Science programs across Years 7–12
n
- Teach senior secondary subjects (e.g., General/Methods Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, or Biology)
n
- Use data‐informed practices to improve student outcomes
n
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
n




- Contribute to curriculum development and co‐curricular programmes
n
- Collaborate with colleagues to support whole‐school initiatives
n

About You

n

- Holds full working rights in Australia
n
- Holds relevant teaching qualifications and registration (or eligibility) in Tasmania
n
- Has demonstrated experience teaching senior Mathematics and/or Science
n
- Is committed to contemporary, evidence‐based teaching practicesBuilds strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
n
- Contributes positively to a team-oriented and values‐driven school culture
n
- Is willing to engage in the broader life of the College
