Mid North Coast Local Health District is seeking Staff Specialists in Psychiatry to join our growing Mental Health Services at Coffs Harbour Health Campus. Two permanent positions are available.

n

Applicants must be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Psychiatrist and hold Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) or equivalent specialist recognition.

n

Candidates currently on the RANZCP Substantial Comparability Pathway will also be considered and must provide evidence of their comparability assessment as part of their application.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Provide specialist clinical services for optimal patient outcomes within the MNCLHD including education and training of medical and nursing staff and the junior medical officers within the department.
n
- Provide effective specialist medical services and clinical management to patients in a complex clinical environment within the MNCLHD.
n




- Provide contemporary clinical management and modern approach to the assessment and management of a broad range of health related conditions within psychiatry as determined.
n

This is a Category A position. Recommended applicants will be reviewed for compliance with NSW Health policy directive for Category A positions prior to offer.

Salary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s. These awards are available at https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/careers/conditions/pages/default.aspx.

TALENT POOL MAY BE CREATED FOR FUTURE ROLES AND WILL REMAIN VALID FOR 18 MONTHS.
