The Opportunity

Based in Wigfield, SA, the Key Account Manager is responsible for retaining and growing a portfolio of mid-market customers by delivering high-quality account management, strengthening contract value and expanding the use of Cleanaway services. You will directly influence customer retention, profitable growth and long-term customer partnerships.

- Develop strategic customer relationships and identify share of wallet opportunities across the Cleanaway service offering.
- Grow portfolio value through contract optimisation, pricing discipline and customer retention activities.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and contribute competitor, market and tender intelligence.
- Manage CRM, contract and reporting requirements to support commercial decision making.
- Partner with operational, finance and customer service teams to deliver a strong customer experience.

About You

You are an experienced B2B account management professional with strong commercial judgement, stakeholder management capability and a track record of growing existing customer portfolios.

Required:

- Demonstrated experience in a commercial or industrial B2B Key Account Management role.
- Strong stakeholder management and customer service capability in a complex environment.
- Proven negotiation, presentation and tender response experience.
- Commercial acumen with experience growing revenue within existing customer portfolios.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or a related discipline is desirable.
- Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications.
