Strategic Projects Support Officer
SCONE
Temporary Part Time (21 hours per week up to 12months)
As the StrategicProjects Support Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the ManagerStrategic Assets and broader Department to keep important projects,priorities and day-to-day operations moving forward.
You’ll be at thecentre of the action, coordinating meetings, preparing reports andcorrespondence, managing records, tracking priorities and providinghigh-quality administrative and project support across a diverse range ofactivities.
With your strongorganisational skills, attention to detail and customer-focused approach,you’ll confidently juggle competing priorities, build positive workingrelationships and help turn plans into action. It’s a varied and rewardingrole where your contribution will help the team stay connected, organised andfocused on delivering great outcomes for our community.
What’s on offer:
- A salary range from $1318.70 to 1476.90 per 35 hour week (based on relevant skills and experience) + 12% superannuation

What we need from you:
- Strong administrative, organisational and time management skills, with confidence managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to prepare accurate, professional correspondence, reports and business papers.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, records management systems, databases and other business systems.
- Experience providing support across projects, contracts, procurement and/or grant administration.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive, dependable and solutions-focused approach, with the initiative to work independently while contributing positively to the broader team.
- Experience in Local Government, engineering or a technical environment would be an advantage.
- Qualifications in Business, Administration, Local Government or a related discipline would be well regarded.
- A current unrestricted driver’s licence.
