About the Opportunity

As the Facility Manager, you will be the key operational lead for all FM activities on site—overseeing planned and reactive maintenance, managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance, and supporting a safe and efficient hospital environment. You’ll work closely with clinical and operational stakeholders, provide technical and strategic advice, and lead a team of FM and trade professionals to deliver exceptional service outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Managing day‑to‑day FM operations including planned maintenance, reactive works and soft services coordination
- Leading contractor performance, scheduling, supervision and quality assurance
- Ensuring WHS compliance, inductions, risk assessments and safe work practices
- Monitoring performance, work orders, compliance tasks and reporting
- Preparing monthly performance reports, maintenance summaries and defect logs
- Managing site‑level budgets, invoices, variations and procurement
- Coordinating shutdowns, inspections and business continuity planning
- Building strong relationships with hospital leaders and clinical teams
- Supporting a culture of safety, service excellence and continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar FM role
- Experience in complex environments—hospital or clinical facilities highly regarded
- Robust understanding of building services,



infrastructure and maintenance delivery
- Proven contractor management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage risk, compliance and operational performance
- Strong communication, leadership and problem‑solving capability
- Trade or engineering qualifications (electrical/mechanical) highly regarded
