The Role

n

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cyber Security Analyst to support security monitoring, threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, and security operations. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern cybersecurity tools while supporting a secure digital environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor security alerts, events, and potential threats.
n
- Investigate suspicious activities and security incidents.
n
- Assist with incident response, investigation, and documentation.
n
- Review security logs and identify unusual patterns or behaviors.
n
- Support vulnerability scanning, assessment, and remediation activities.
n
- Assist with endpoint, network, cloud, and application security monitoring.
n
- Maintain accurate security records, incident reports, and documentation.
n
- Support access-control reviews and user-permission management.
n
- Assist with security assessments and risk-analysis activities.
n
- Monitor threat intelligence and emerging cybersecurity risks.
n
- Support security awareness and internal security initiatives.
n
- Work with IT, Infrastructure, Development, and Operations teams.
n
- Assist with security policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
n
- Recommend improvements to security monitoring and operational processes.
n
- Bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
n
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, network security, access control, and common threats.
n
- Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability-scanning, or security-monitoring tools is advantageous.
n
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPNs,



and network security concepts.
n
- Familiarity with Windows, Linux, cloud environments, and security technologies is a plus.
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
n
- Excellent attention to detail.
n
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
n
- Robust ability to investigate and document technical issues.
n
- Willingness to learn recent security tools and technologies.
n
- Professional, proactive, and security-conscious mindset.
n
- Australian work eligibility is required.
