We are seeking a passionate and experienced Business and Humanities Teacher for a permanent full-time opportunity commencing Term 3, 2026.

Full Job Description: This role is suited to an educator confident teaching Business and Humanities (Secondary Year Levels) within a values-driven and supportive community Independent school in Yatala - Gold Coast setting.

About the Role

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Deliver engaging Business and Humanities lessons across secondary year levels, fostering student curiosity, critical thinking and academic achievement.
n
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development.
n
- Plan, assess and report on student progress in line with curriculum requirements and school expectations.
n

n

About You

n

You are:

n

n
- Qualified teacher with experience teaching Business and/or Humanities subjects at the secondary level.
n
- Passionate about developing students' understanding of business, society, history, geography and contemporary issues.
n
- Holds current Queensland teacher registration or is eligible for registration.
n

n

Requirements

n

n
- Relevant teaching qualification.
n
- Current (or ability to obtain) QCT registration.
n
- Full working rights in Australia.
n
