Production Manager (Manufacturing) at Ecre

ECRE Coffee is looking for a Production Manager (Manufacturing) who can plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the production activities of the business, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and the smooth operation of its production processes.

Tasks and Duties

- Overseeing daily roasting production schedules to meet wholesale and retail supply demands.
- Managing and supervising roasting and warehouse staff.
- Coordinating workflow across roasting, packaging, and warehouse operations.
- Monitoring production output and implementing efficiency improvements.
- Managing inventory levels for green beans, roasted stock, and packaging materials.
- Implementing and maintaining quality control standards for roasted coffee products.




- Monitoring roasting profiles and production consistency across batches.
- Coordinating equipment maintenance and operational safety procedures.
- Assisting with forecasting production volumes based on sales and distribution requirements.
- coordinating the implementation of occupational health and safety requirements
- directing staff activities and monitoring their performance

Tasks and Responsibilities

- Most occupations in this unit group have a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification
- At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification
- In some instances, relevant experience and/or on the job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 1)
- Physical capabilities and ability to work around heavy materials
- Need to be proficient with hand power tools relevant to the trade
- Registration or licensing is required

Expected salary: $100,000- $120,000 per year Australian Citizens and Permanent residents encouraged to apply.
