Blue Shield Family General Practice is looking for a friendly, reliable and professional Medical Receptionist to join our small two-doctor general practice.
Key responsibilities
- Greeting and checking in patients
- Managing appointments and telephone enquiries
- Medicare and private billing
- Managing recalls, referrals and correspondence
- Scanning and maintaining accurate patient records
- General medical administration
- Supporting doctors and the practice nurse with daily administrative duties
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and professional standards
About you
- Friendly and skilled
- Reliable and punctual
- Organised and attentive to detail
- Confident communicating with patients
- Comfortable using computers and learning practice software
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
- Previous medical reception experience is desirable but not essential
