About the Role

n

Our client is seeking an experienced Production Manager to take ownership of multiple residential builds from commencement through to completion. This is a key role focused on keeping projects moving, coordinating trades, reducing construction cycle times and improving overall productivity.

n

Tasks and Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage the production of multiple residential homes from commencement through to completion.
n
- Maintain forward planning and scheduling to ensure trades are coordinated effectively across multiple sites.
n
- Identify delays, bottlenecks and production issues early and implement practical recovery plans.
n
- Manage trade and supplier performance, ensuring commitments and scheduled timeframes are met.
n
- Work closely with Supervisors and Site Staff to improve productivity, communication and accountability.
n
- Monitor rework, defects, materials and incomplete works to ensure construction remains on track.
n
- Report production performance, delays and upcoming requirements to Management.
n
- Drive continuous improvement across construction systems, processes and cycle times.
n

Skills and Experience

n

n
- Proven experience as a Production Manager, Construction Manager, Building Manager,



Construction Coordinator or similar within residential construction.
n
- Strong understanding of residential construction from site commencement through to completion.
n
- Experience coordinating multiple building sites and trade contractors.
n
- Strong scheduling, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
n
- Excellent trade management, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
n
- Proactive and solutions-focused approach with the confidence to hold trades and team members accountable.
n
- Solid understanding of construction sequencing, build programs and recovery strategies.
n
- Commitment to quality, safety, productivity and delivering excellent customer outcomes.
