Noble Surveys is looking for an experienced Survey Manager to join our team, based from either our Perth or Bunbury office.
n
This is a senior role with responsibility for overseeing the successful delivery of surveying services across a range of construction, infrastructure and mining projects throughout Western Australia.
n
You'll work closely with our survey teams, project managers and clients to ensure projects are properly planned, resourced and delivered. From the initial project handover through to completion, you'll have a hands‐on role in maintaining technical standards, managing resources, supporting our people and ensuring projects perform both operationally and commercially.

The Role
n
n
- Oversee the delivery of surveying services across multiple projects.
n
- Lead, support and develop Senior Surveyors and survey team members.
n
- Coordinate personnel, equipment and resources to meet project requirements.
n
- Monitor project progress, productivity, quality and financial performance.
n
- Work with Project Managers and clients to understand requirements and maintain effective project delivery.
n
- Review survey information, calculations, field data and final deliverables to ensure accuracy and quality.
n
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to survey teams when required.
n
- Assist with project planning, quotations, invoicing and reporting.
n
- Identify potential issues early and implement practical solutions to minimise delays and rework.
n
- Maintain robust communication with clients and project stakeholders.
n
- Promote consistent survey practices, quality standards and effective ways of working.
n
- Provide mentoring and support to develop the technical capability and confidence of the survey team.
n
- Support a positive safety culture and ensure work is carried out in accordance with project and company requirements.
n
- Contribute to improving Noble Surveys' systems, processes and overall project delivery.

What We're Looking For
n
We're seeking an experienced survey professional who is confident working at a senior level and can balance technical requirements, people leadership and project outcomes.
n
Ideally, you'll bring:
n
n
- 5+ years' experience in surveying, with previous Survey Manager experience essential.
n
- Strong experience in engineering, civil, construction or infrastructure surveying.
n
- Demonstrated experience managing survey teams and coordinating multiple projects.
n
- The ability to effectively plan resources and prioritise competing project requirements.
n
- Strong technical knowledge of field surveying, data processing and quality control.
n
- A practical understanding of project costs, productivity and commercial performance.
n
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with clients and project teams.
n
- A genuine interest in mentoring and developing less experienced surveyors.
n
- Experience with Trimble GNSS, total stations and associated surveying equipment.
n
- Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC), Civil 3D or similar software would be advantageous.
n
- Exposure to UAV/drone surveying, machine control or laser scanning would be highly regarded.
n
- A proactive and organised approach,
with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
