We are looking for a Financial Controller who is career focused and excited to work with the management team to successfully and profitably achieve growth targets.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a willingness to learn and work as part of a team. Care and pride in your work is a must along with your willingness to learn and grow.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

n

Leading and managing a small team of dedicated staff.

n

Month-end financial reporting – including production of P & L, Balance Sheet and analysis of monthly performance.

n

Management accounting and strategic financial analysis.

n

Overseeing Accounting, Payroll and IT functions.

n

Ensuring statutory and compliance requirements are met.

n

Driving continuous process and system improvement.

n

Working on ad-hoc projects and initiatives alongside the wider management team.

n





The ideal candidate:

n

CA or CPA qualifications in accounting with 5+ years post qualification work experience in a senior accounting role with staff responsibilities.

n

Strong skills in Excel required and experience with Xero ideal.

n

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

n

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise workload.

n

Ability to work within a management team.
